During the garden meeting, the coordinator of Pharmaciens Sans Frontieres came to speak on the latrine projects. He explained the reasons the project took so long to implement during the school year. We have been approved for the project by an NGO and it has not yet been confirmed in a document. However, this project is already showing some progress in being executed next year. We have found an NGO to finance the work and the construction of the latrines regardless of the price.
We also mentioned the incident with the other entrepreneur who asked for
one million dollar for the latrines (Note: This happens sometimes when you are undertaking large projects with host nationals). We later found out that he was a charlatan who was brought to prison due to mismanagement of funds.
