For the past two days I was at Djinack Bara, a small island in Senegal for a conference on education and the environment. Many administrative, religious and village chiefs were present at the event. I had the opportunity to meet my counterpart’s brother. I also had the opportunity to know more about the NGO who built the case de santé and the school on the island. We have set up a meeting to talk about the project of the health hut. Two days later, we had a meeting with the Secretary General of the health committee to talk about the next steps we will take to write the report to be given to the NGO.
