I am going to my first baby weighing at
Dahame. Each Thursday I have baby weighing in a different village. The Head
nurse of the Post de Sante goes to these villages to supervise the job done by
the health agents (ASC) in the area. They assess their understanding the
treatments they needs to administer to patients, and if they know how to
identify the symptoms. Then the ICP supervises the amount of medications sold
to patients to analyze whether or not the case de santé is financially up to
date in the region. They give recommendations of they feel the ASC needs more
help to accomplish his tasks. These check-ins are important because the people
depend on the health hut for basic care.
